What we collect

  • You look up an addressThe address, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser, even if you go no further.
  • You ask for your reportYour first name, your mobile number, the sentence printed under the button you tapped, the time you tapped it, your IP address and your browser.
  • You send a buyer formYour name, your mobile number, what you wrote, the sentence printed under the button you tapped, and your browser.
  • You answer the question on your reportYour answer.
  • We text or talkOur text messages with you, and if we talk by phone, the call recording and its transcript.
  • You book a call with our teamYour email address, to send the invitation.
  • You visit any pageA page count with Plausible Analytics. We also collect standard server logs.

How we use it

We use it to show your value range, send your report, and talk with you about your home or the home you want to buy. If you look up an address and go no further, we may match it to the county's owner record and contact the owner about the home. If, on your call with our team, you choose to sell through a real estate agent, we may give that agent your name, phone number and property address. The photo of the home at the top of your report comes from Google Street View; to get it, we send Google the home's map location, never your name or number. We do not sell your information, and we do not share your phone number or email with any third party for that third party's own marketing.

Text messaging (SMS)

  • Our texts come from AHR, operated by HERO REI. You get them when you ask for your home report, say yes to the question on your report, or send a buyer form on this site. The texting agreement is printed under the button you tap, and it is not a condition of buying anything from us.

  • Our texts are sent automatically, and a person may also reply. Message frequency varies; our SMS Terms say when we text and how often. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out; it takes effect immediately. Reply HELP for help.

  • Mobile opt-in data and consent records are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where our market figures come from

The market figures we publish come from published housing data (Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, Freddie Mac, the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Treasury), from county property records and from a private property data company. They describe areas and homes, not people, and we do not publish owner names or contact information.

Retention, access, deletion

We keep these records until you ask us to delete them. To see or delete what we hold about you, reply to any text we send and tell us.
